Mozilla Firefox

Posted on Sunday, February 15th, 2004Friday, November 26th, 2004 by Me

Tonight I downloaded the Mozilla Firefox browser just because I wanted to try an IE alternative. I tried it before when it was Firebird, but ended up switching back to IE for some reason. Well, now, I think I really like Firefox. It has all the features of what I had with my Google Toolbared IE (pop-up blocking, searching Google within my browser) without even having to install the Google Toolbar… plus more extensions that I can add if I want.

So far so good. I’m not sure if I’ll be switching back to IE again.

Woo-hah! No more flashing banner ads for me! I just installed the Adblock extension to Firefox and imported some advanced filters into Adblock and now those annoying ads are gone! 😀 😀 Now I don’t have to mess with host files and whatnot. 🙂 This is so much easier.
