Yes, it’s another Gentoo post.
I managed to get my Microsoft Optical Notebook Mouse (from now on I’ll refer to it as the USB mouse) working along with the touchpad and trackpoint! 😀
At first, I got the USB mouse to work, but then my touchpad and trackpoint stopped working. I fixed that, and then I noticed that the scroll wheel on my USB mouse didn’t work. So I had to fix that, too. Well, I’m all finished with that, so everything is working great!
My next step is to get Gentoo and XP networked so I can download all my files straight to my PC’s hard drive like I did when I had XP on the laptop since it only has a 6 gig hard drive and there’s a lot more space available on my PC hard drive. I hope that’s not too hard. 🙂
