Hello, universe! It’s been a while since I started a post that way.

I almost forgot about today’s daily gratitude post. Yesterday’s post had to do with web browsers and I guess today’s mostly has to do with my phone. So, thanks for the following…

Screen protector on my phone. Thanks for helping keep my screen from getting dirty or scratched. It’s better that those things happen to the screen protector and not the screen, right?

Osfoora for iPhone. It’s probably one of the best Twitter clients I’ve used for the iPhone. I don’t feel like going in depth into that since this isn’t meant to be a review, so that’s all I’ll say.

Google Maps for iPhone – for showing me real time traffic and helping me find places while I’m on the go.

Sigalert – speaking of traffic, this site is great for that too. It’s only for Californians and Arizonans (is that what you call someone from Arizona or is it Arizonian?) though, but still great for checking traffic. They also have a mobile version of the site too, but it’s easier for me just to open Google Maps.

Being able to download apps on iTunes for transferring to my phone later. Very useful when my phone doesn’t have the latest OS installed and I want to make sure I still get the app.

And that concludes my phone appreciation post. I don’t know if I’ll continue with having another theme tomorrow, but it’s been fun doing it this way so far. Well, have a great day, everyone! And I’ll post again tomorrow!

Hello, universe! It’s time for my daily dose of gratitude! So, let’s get right to it!

Amazon’s affiliate program – so far this is one of the affiliate programs I’ve been paid by. Yay! Here’s to more sales with this and even more affiliate programs in the future!

@TotesMcGotes on Twitter – I would love to learn from him or at least see this guy give a presentation! This guy is living the life to the fullest and is really funny and inspiring. It’d be great to have him as a mentor and I think that is definitely a possibility since he’s somewhere in San Diego county.

Our mailbox – it’s not exactly new anymore, but I’m glad they replaced our mailboxes with new ones a while ago so now it’s a whole lot easier to get the key in the hole.

Understanding PHP enough to be able to tweak scripts. It really comes in handy to be able to tinker with other people’s code.

That my eyesight hasn’t changed in over 10 years. I got new glasses this year since it was time for new frames and the doctor who gave me my prescription said it was still about the same as the last time I had an eye exam. He said that since there wasn’t much of a change that it would probably stay the same until I’m in my 40s. It’d be cool if my eyesight improved, but I’m happy that it hasn’t changed much.

Those are the five. Thanks for reading! Five more tomorrow.

It’s been a while since my last post, so I thought I’d write something about Twitter. I have a few different twitter accounts for different purposes. One for tech, one for internet marketing, one general account that’s mostly for family and stuff… if they ever catch onto Twitter at all – my siblings and other family mostly hang out on MySpace, which I don’t waste my time with anymore.

Anyway, I’ve noticed I’ve been getting a lot of followers on my internet marketing Twitter account. Which is kind of weird since I don’t really tweet much on it. The only reason I think people follow me is because they see I’m following some other marketers and probably have the idea in their head that if they follow me, I’ll follow them back then they can just promote the hell out of whatever it is they’re trying to promote. Well, if that’s your plan, too bad, cuz it ain’t gonna work! I don’t do reciprocal following.

I only follow people who have something to say that catches my interest. I do look at the Twitter pages of people who follow me to see what they’ve tweeted lately, but if nothing catches my eye or if I see that they’re just trying to use Twitter to pimp a bunch of affiliate links, I usually don’t follow them back.

Anyone who really wants me to read something they have to tweet can always @myusername me (no, that’s not my Twitter username). But I choose who I want to follow. In the words of He-Man, “I have the power!” Was that super cheesy or what?
