The first was a VHS tape of every episode of The Legend of Zelda cartoon series that aired as part of the Super Mario Brothers Super Show, plus a few episodes of Captain N that featured Link and Zelda, and some episodes of the Mario Bros. cartoon. I also added some cool Zelda glitch/Gameshark footage onto the end of the tape. I sent it off to… well, let’s call him “Gamer” 😉 and expected him to get it 2-3 days later. Well, thanks for nothing, USPS Priority Mail. 😐 It’s been about 3 years now and he still hasn’t gotten it. Now, whenever we mail stuff to each other or talk about waiting for packages, we hope that they don’t get lost with the Zelda tape.
Well, now it’s time for another package to join the lost Zelda tape. 🙁 On May 2nd, I won an auction for a Naruto sleeping cap. A week later (the 9th), the seller finally gave me the total price and I paid her. I’ve been waiting to get it ever since then. Obviously, since I’m writing this, I haven’t received anything yet. 🙁 I e-mailed the seller and asked if she ever shipped it and she says she did… she has 100% positive feedback and doesn’t seem like the type of person to scam anyone, so I believe her. She said she’d send me a replacement and I told her I’d wait until today to see if it ever shows up. I don’t have much hope of ever getting it. I don’t really know who’s at fault… Japan Post or USPS. After two bad experiences with USPS (both of them Zelda related), I’m somewhat inclined to say USPS, but there’s no way of really knowing. At least I’ll be getting a replacement. Hopefully, that one will actually arrive at my mailbox or front door safely. 🙂
Well, if this is the extent of my bloggings (lost packages, video games, random crap that nobody else really cares about), I must be some kind of a geek. Well, yeah, I am. I’ll admit it… so what? 😛
