Who would’ve thought I’d be so into DDR? 😆
My brother bought me a DDR pad for my Xbox for my 23rd birthday and I’ve been playing that more than I thought I would. Sure, I suck at it (I get all dyslexic and start going in the wrong direction), but it’s fun. :amused: And… on my birthday, my brother liked playing so much that he went out and bought another pad the next day so we could do two player mode. 😀
Becky bought me some hardboard for my birthday (I asked for it 😛 Actually, I asked for particle board, but hardboard will do fine) so I could hard mod my DDR pads, so that they’d be more responsive and last longer than when you’re just playing with them on carpet. Brian gave me the idea to buy vinyl/plastic table coverings in the fabric section at WalMart instead of getting expensive sheets of plastic from a hardware store or something.
So I took the pieces of hardboard, put the pads on top of them, then put the plastic over them and taped the plastic to the back of the hardboard to hold the pads in place (I’ll put up some pics later, maybe). It works pretty well. 🙂 The whole thing ended up costing me just $5.72 for the 3 yards of plastic. I love a cheap, effective mod. :amused:
