I didn’t get picked for any of the jury panel selections today. Woohoo! 😀 And I know where not to sit the next time I go in for jury duty. There’s this one seat in the jury lounge and every person who sat in that chair ended up being picked.
First this one lady was sitting there, and she got picked during the first selection. Then some guy came and sat in her seat. He got picked during the third round of pickings. Then another lady came and sat down over there. Before they picked people again, I thought to myself, this lady’s probably gonna get picked. And bam, her name was called. Everyone else who was sitting in that general area, myself included, didn’t get picked.
After the fourth group was announced, we were all free to go home by noon. 🙂
I’m glad I had my PDA with me… this is the first time I’ve used it in months, but it was nice to have today because I would’ve been bored out of my mind sitting there for four hours if I didn’t have anything to do.
