One of my posts from February last year has been getting a few comments lately… I wonder where these people commenting are coming from since nobody really comes to my website, well, I don’t think so anyway. 😮 I pretty much just use this domain for e-mail and I have a blog just for the hell of it.
Anyway, the post that’s gotten some recent comments is this one, regarding my crappy experience with registerfly.com. I’m happy to say that I haven’t been charged by registerfly for anything since then. And hopefully won’t be charged by them for anything in the near future. Even if they do charge me, my credit union is always on top of things. 🙂
I am a little worried about one thing. A domain (this domain to be exact) that I transferred AWAY from them over a year two years ago is still listed as being registered with them. :confused: Even though I turned off auto-renewal on my account over there, I’m still somewhat worried that they’ll charge me anyway. According to registerfly, my domain expires this year with them. According to the registrar I transferred it to, my domain expires next year. I guess I’ll have to wait and see what happens when the time comes. :notrust:
UPDATE: Actually, I ended up e-mailing registerfly.com and asking about it. I logged in again today (April 21st) and my domain no longer shows up in my account over there, so I guess I can give them credit for getting a little better with support than they were before. I’ll still be checking to make sure that I don’t get charged later on this year when the domain was supposed to “expire” with them.
