Tonight’s episode of Heroes was awesome. I still think last week’s episode 17, Company Man, was the best one ever.
Quick summary (not in order of how things happened on the show, just in order of how I remembered them): Mr. B is screwed; his new partner’s ability to morph into anybody else gets him into trouble with “the company”. Isaac paints his own death. Claire meets her grandmother. Hiro and Ando get the sword and both teleport into the future to a destroyed NYC. We finally see who Linderman is. Mohinder attempts to kill Sylar, but instead gets himself into one big mess. The episode ends with Sylar cutting Peter’s head.
The worst thing is there won’t be any new episodes until April 23rd, so it’ll be a while before we find out what happens. What a long time to wait, but at least there’s still Lost, even though I’m getting a little bored with that show now.
They cut the “wolf” part out of the scene with Nathan and Hiro. I guess it kind of would’ve taken away from the overall episode if they left it in, but I always love the scenes with Nathan and Hiro when Nathan tries to decipher what Hiro is saying. 😛
I was kind of disappointed with Linderman. I was expecting some kind of badass guy, but he was just some old dude. Nathan should’ve just pulled the trigger then Linderman wouldn’t be able to tell anybody what he knows or have any influence over anybody anymore. Even if Nathan would’ve died for killing Linderman, it all would’ve been to protect his family. So I wouldn’t have minded if the show went in that direction instead of Nathan deciding to choose a life of meaning.
The show has already alluded to what will happen with Peter versus Sylar. When future Hiro met with Peter on the subway, he told him that, “You look different without the scar.” So now we know where the scar is from. So, it’s obvious that Peter will survive the fight.
Here’s the preview for episode 19:
Man, I can’t wait!
