I went on a few errands the other day and stopped by Target and Fry’s. I really was just there to browse, so I didn’t buy anything. Out of curiousity, I wanted to see how many Wiis and PS3s were available. Neither store had any Wiis. Target had 6 PS3s in their display case and Fry’s had a whole pallet full of them.
It amazes me that even now, the Wii is still pretty hard to find. If I hadn’t preordered one, I don’t even know if I would’ve been able to have one at all.
As for the PS3, Sony really ought to do something to increase sales. Maybe release some games that people actually want to play. I’m mostly looking forward to Little Big Planet, but that’s not out until next year, so I don’t think I’ll be getting a PS3 at all (if ever) for a while. I’d get a 360 first before I ever get a PS3. Wii60 FTW!
