E-Rice Review

Posted on Saturday, June 2nd, 2007 by Me

This was originally from my Web Hosting Reviews lens on Squidoo. I moved it here to make the lens less lengthy.

When e-rice.net was first launched, they offered free hosting packages for a limited time/limted number of people.

The packages included 50 MB of web space, 500 MB of bandwidth, and I don’t really remember the rest.

I jumped on the opportunity to get a free account.

So this e-rice review may be a little biased since I got my account for free, but I still think they’re a decent web host.

I never had any downtime the whole time I was with them. I probably should have kept my free account with them active, so that I would still have it now, but I was just too enticed by the next host to think about staying with e-rice.

But really, I wish I still had access to my free account (it was deactivated when they saw that I wasn’t using it). Any free account is great and you should try to keep it for as long as you can!

The plans that they have now are good, but there are much better plans out there for the same price or a little more than they charge. But they definitely are a reliable web hosting service. I would recommend them if their plans are more than what you need.
