I always have the most interesting dreams. I usually never blog about them though since I don’t really want random people reading about them, I just e-mail them to people I know. Maybe I’ll write about a few of them here sometime though, if I feel like it.
I think it’d be really cool to be able to have some sort of DVR for your dreams so that you can play them back. My dreams would be so fun just to watch again. I think it’d be better entertainment for me than this season of Heroes so far. 😛
I can usually remember my dreams pretty well – it’s really crazy how much detail I remember sometimes. I guess that’s just me though since my brain just seems to remember all sorts of random, mostly useless info. So maybe I wouldn’t even need a dream DVR – I could probably reenact some of my dreams – if some of them were actually feasible reenactments in real world types of environments and don’t require much as far as props.
Yeah, there have been some dreams that were set in real world locations. Like the one where I was in college taking my health class and instead of walking to the gym from the track, my health teacher told us that we’d take the helicopter instead (some health teacher, huh?). Then everybody would get inside of the helicopter which turned out to be just a huge cardboard box. Wow, that was a really old dream – from a few years ago, whenever it was that I took that health class, but it was still one of the more memorable ones (some I just remember after I wake up, then e-mail to people about them and then I forget about them after that).
Then there are other dreams which I’d never be able to recreate unless I had a huge motion picture studio at my disposal. Like the dream where the whole world was underwater – there was no more land anywhere. Buildings were somehow built underneath the water, yet also extended high above the water too. I’ve never played BioShock for 360 before, but from what I heard about the game, the buildings in my dream might have been something like the buildings in that game… maybe.
Still, I think it’d be neat to have a device that can record your dreams. I’d burn all of mine to DVD then just watch them whenever I wanted to. Too bad I don’t think anyone will ever be able to make anything like that since there’s really no way to “see” anybody’s thoughts, which I think is what a dream capturing device would be doing. Oh well, I can always dream about it. 😉
