Hello, universe!
I’ve decided to start every prosperity game post with that now. I’m also changing my titles, so instead of having the date, I’m putting the day that I’m currently on. It’ll help for once I get past day 30.
I got the idea for today’s post from day 39 at asIprosper.com.
That is seriously one slick looking monitor, so I’d love to have one of my own too!
$8,000 for the NEC CRV 43.
That wouldn’t fit on my current desk at all, so it’s time to find a new desk! After searching online, I couldn’t find one desk that I liked at all! So, I’d probably go to the woodworking department at Palomar College and post an ad on their bulletin board asking to have a desk built for me.
As a former woodworking student at Palomar, I know they have some excellent teachers there and students eager to pick up some projects for cash. I’d build a desk myself, but even if I bought the power tools, there’s nowhere to put them. And I also think I have wood/sawdust allergies. Found that out the hard way when I’d get a rash/hives every time I’d be working on something in the shop at school… and when playing Rock Band drums (the sticks make my hands/arms itch… good thing I have plastic/rubber sticks now).
Anyway, at least this way, I can pick the kind of wood I’d want to be used – even possibly choose from Palomar’s selection of urban wood. Hoo-rah! I think $5,000 is a generous sum to be able to choose the wood and have a custom desk built.
Heck, I would even spend all of the $16,000 left to have Ty Pennington build me a desk. That would be so awesome to have something crafted by him!
